Coffee Versus Beer Infographic Makes Me Want a Coffee Stout

I came across this infographic on The Roaming Pint’s Facebook page and just had to share it here.  It was created by a Japanese coffee fetish website (I mean really, who would be crazy enough to dedicate an entire website to a single beverage?!) called

It’s full of interesting facts about both coffee and beer, but I think the net takeaway is this: The coffee stout is the world’s perfect beverage.  You can’t argue with science!:

Ahhhh now the beer/coffee routine I used to do in college to write papers makes sense! It’s science!

You’re mind is obviously a finely tuned instrument to intrinsically understand the popper use for each of these beverages long before being presented with this colorful declaration of scientific knowledge!

It’s uncanny how many of my design ideas I get when I’m up around .07. Half of my workflow begins with a bar napkin. And it ends in a sea of coffee the next day or two.

In short… this infograph is great because it confirms what I’d kind of always suspected.

Affirmation is awesome, isn’t it? Now I need an infographic that says watching Ray Donovan in a dark room while drinking beer makes you smarter…

I don’t have a good enough idea as to how I should respond right now.

Not that I need another reason to drink coffee stouts…but I’ll take it.

I think this information takes it from “reason” to “necessity” 🙂

Jim, seriously, I tell people all the time I’m so freakin healthy because of copious amounts of coffee and beer… I do drink water, but other than that coffee and beer that’s pretty much it…! I even told a doctor that recently…. I told him I was healthy as a horse and attributed it to beer and coffee… he told me I look like a horse…! I think that was a compliment… I’ve had a few Southern Tier Harvest tonight…. I have tomorrow off so its my Friday… Drink up! Caffeine, alcohol, and chicken wings… what the hell else is there….???
