Now THIS is What I call Christmas Music!

Christmas is a time of year for hanging out with the people you love, reflecting on the blessings in you life, and, if you’re basically an eight year old trapped in an adult’s body like me, begging for the things you really, REALLY WANT!!

It’s also a time of music, with many artists from Burl Ives, to David “parumpapumpummm” Bowie, to that Justin Beaver shemale kid all giving voice to the season.

Throw my holiday avarice and my obsession with the world’s greatest beverage in a musical blender, and what comes out would probably sound a lot like this song from Robert “DatsWho” Snow, a musician from New Orleans who has only one wish for that jolly old elf: “Please, please Santa won’t you bring me some beer!”

With a seasonally appropriate last name like Snow and a home address somewhere in Abita Springs, Louisiana (where I assume decent beer just bubbles up from the earth), I’d say this guy knows of he sings.

Take it away, Robert!

Wondering: if I loop this enough this holiday season, will I wake up on Christmas day to find the missing pieces to my Vertical Epic series? Hell, I’d settle for a sixer of Goose Island Bourbon County. C’mon Santa!
