Friday Randomness: The Best Local TV Commercial Ever Made (For Dead Animals)

.

I’m not ever sure where to start, but this may be the best television commercial I’ve ever seen. All I’ll say is click play – I’d hate to spoil a minute of it.  Check out the stuffed Don that makes an appearance at about 0:35.

Thanks to Mathew Molde for sharing this on our Facebook page!

I really love this, especially since I have relatives in Ojai. I’m sure my foodie, wine-loving uncle and Chuck Testa are best pals!

Ojai also has one of the finest beer stores I have ever visited.

I wonder what your wife might say about that, John.

This is from the Rhett & Link show where two guys make commercials for small businesses that have bad commercials, it’s on IFC. They also made the ad for the rapping Indian couple dressed as different American historical figures, hilarious! All of the business owners go in skeptical, but are usually pleased by the results. They have a YouTube channel you should check out.

Awesome. This looked too good to be a mistake – there seemed to be a clear sense of refined comedy to it along with good production value which made think there was some real talent behind it.

The bear in that vid looks like one of my best friends. It freaked me out a bit, dudes, so I need a good beer recommendation to take the edge off.

Bear Republic Racer 5 should help cleanse those memories…

Now, a pig in a tutu isn’t a ballerina, but a stuffed pig is lunch. I think that I’m quoting the brewmaster for Platinum on this one.

Haha, classic! I know what I’ll name my next homebrew. Chuck Testa!

Nice! People will take a sip and ask “Pliny?” and you can go “no, it’s Chuck Testa!”
