I’ll admit it – I think Justin Timberlake is hilarious when he pops onto Saturday Night Live. He has immaculate comedic timing and doesn’t seem to mind making a fool of himself.
His latest effort was this weekend, when he appeared as a dancing bottle of beer promoting Liquorville at a mall. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this mall schtick and it always makes me smile.
What I like less is how they characterize beer in the skit, as it comes off as a little low brow. You’d think I’d be used to that by now.
Also, I’m sorry if Don’s disappointed by the headline, which he probably read as “Justin Timberlake as a Dancing Bear.” You know how he loves his bears. Sorry about that bro, this one’s for you:

I did happen to catch this one this weekend and thought it was pretty good.
It’s always so hit and miss. I love Kristin Wiig and JT’s cameos, so you’re not gonna do better than the clip above.
The only reason I watched was because of the history of JT putting on a good performance.
As an old school SNL fan from the first years of the show, I’d been so disappointed with it virtually every time I tuned in over the past several years that I stopped watching. Simly no longer on the radar.
HOWEVER… I did make it a point to watch the season finale on Saturday and resisted the urge to turn it off after the horrible DSK lead-in skit. Glad I did because just about everything after that was hysterical, especially Liquorville. I’m not a Justin Timberlake fan but I have to admit that he was outstanding and the writing for the finale was legitimate old school SNL quality.

JT is always rock solid on SNL, so it’s an easy clip to get behind and share.
Seems like episodes of late have 1 or 2 skits that hit. And the rest just get a smirk out of me. Timberlake was hilarious as always and I can’t think of a skit that I didn’t laugh out loud at. Good stuff last night, SNL.
That’s been the case forever – one or two worth watching and a lot of half-baked filler.
