Talk about a perfect moment – grilling with my daughter (the narrator) and enjoying a crisp and refreshing Victory Prima Pils. After that, I wrapped up a Band of Brothers marathon with my boy.
Hope your holiday was as good as mine. Summer’s off to a fabulous start!
Awesome commentary Jim! Glad to see you are raising your daughter right! I went darker, I had a Black Bonney from Three Skulls Brewing out of Seattle Washington. I had cellared it for over a year, and it was crisp and tangy and tasted like it had been aged on cherries. I have no idea if it actually had been aged on Cherries, but it was great. Black as night too. I used it in my Barbecue sause too that went into and on my Pulled Pork sandwiches, which I had open faced on waffles. Awesome. Where was the grill? That didn’t look like your back porch.
That’s my backyard – I don’t grill on my wooden porch. 🙂
I also had a couple of DFH 90’s, which I’ve recently rediscovered – tasty awesomeness!
They are very good and you are lucky to have access to them! I set up a new basketball hoop with my son Jason, and then after dinner we had a shoot around for about an hour. Brian came home for a visit too, but had to leave before dinner last night. All in all it was a pretty good weekend.
Forgot to add that the narration was totally spontaneous – she saw me taking a video and decided it needed words. The fact that she rhymed it is just gravy…
Very nice.
But now I’m hungry and thirsty and it isn’t even 10AM yet!!!!
Consider yourself lucky Bill. It isn’t even 9am here!!!
“Bubbly and beautiful” , someone has a bright future as a beer critic/judge.
She cracks me up for sure…
Looks delicious. We need more holidays and shorter work weeks…way too rare.
Yes, I’d like to declare a new weekly holiday called Mon Day.
That’s awesome…
Beer looks good…
