How to ship beer.

One caveat to this shipping video.  Chad from Chad’s Beer Reviews recommends using postal flat rate boxes for shipping.  It is a Federal Crime to ship alcohol via the US mail.  It is against policy to ship via Fed Ex or UPS, but a broken bottle won’t land you in the clink like it will if it happens through the USPS.  Still there are some good tips here and ones I will probably follow for my next beer shipment.  Enjoy!

I have always told them it’s live yeast samples, and no one bats and eye. Technically I am not lying, the beer is the environment that happens to provide it a home. I also use UPS and not the USPS just to be safe.

I used USPS last week for two people (Person in Vid is one of them). I know one has reached safely, but worry that the other hasn’t picked it up yet from the post office. Next time it will be UPS.

I’d use UPS Mike, the USPS frowns upon Federal Crimes! Even though you and I know it is ridiculous!
