Your Friendly Weekend Podcast Reminder

It’s the weekend and you have a little time on your hands.  Now might be the perfect time pop over to iTunes and download The Beer and Whiskey Brothers Podcast.  It’s free, fun and worth a listen.

On our latest episode we cover off on the tasty fellas above, which modern day car would be best for a Smokey and the Bandit style beer run (It’s the only way Don’s getting any Oskar Blues beer now that they’ve pulled out of Idaho), answer some listener mail, and more.

Why not have a listen?

Anytime there is a Smokey and The Bandit reference, I am all over it! Seriously, nice job on the podcast. It was fun listen.

Thanks, Brandon. I still think my minivan idea makes a lot of sense. I mean t-tops and smokey burnouts are cool, but you just can’t beat all those cupholders in the Odyssey!

Just need some big ashtrays for all the cigars that would need to be smoked on that trip.

Nothing more manly than cigars in a minivan!

I just tried all 3 of the drinks this weekend (yes, it was a good weekend) and I loved the Rare Breed and Old Chub! Yes, we have Oskar Blues in California. So if you ever marry a dude, you can come pick some up here. 🙂

Rare Breed is great, and Kentucky Spirit is even better, so keep an eye out for that.

And judging by the way you and Don have been PMing on Twitter, expect a proposal soon.

Yeah Brandon, the Old Chub is outstanding Scotch Ale. It is perhaps my favorite dark beer to drink during the summer, because it is so refreshing while at the same time emphasizing the malty character of the brew. Its just great stuff. Glad you liked the Rare Breed. I like the KS too, but Rare Breed is hard to beat with its barrel proof.

Thanks Elena. Maybe we can do a recorded podcast from the pub in your new brewery one day! That would be awesome. Jim swore to me yesterday he would have our latest recording up today. I’ve already bugged him about it again this morning. We’ll see. Sheesh he thinks like he is on vacation, so he shouldn’t have to post! What’s up with that?
