I remember in College I went to a Travers Show at the 5 season’s center in Cedar Rapids, IA. It was actually the second time I had seen Pat and he was on FIRE! This was in about the middle of his set and was a huge crowd pleaser. Jim and I will be back tomorrow with our regular postings, but got a bit sidetracked today. Enjoy!

ROCK N’ ROLL (holding Bic lighter in the air). Can’t remember the last time I heard this song. Actually literally snorted whiskey a number of times… but that’s another story. Good choice!
I remember the first time I saw Pat Travers it was in an Armory Quanset Hut in Burlington, Iowa. I was 17 and drove me and three friends the 60 miles to the show. We got there about 1/2 hour before the show and got right up to the rail in front of the stage. It was awesome and Pat was incredible. Interesting now as he has gotten a bit older he plays more rhythm guitar and has brought in another lead guitarist. I guess age catches up with us all, but this band still rocks!
Maybe you can tell Jim and I about your whiskey snorting when we meet up over GABF.
