Speaking of hops. I found a Pliny the Elder at Whole Foods yesterday. It’s been over a year since I had it last. I was completely underwhelmed this time around. Carbonation was nonexistent (don’t know if this is intentional) and it was much more syrupy than I remember. The perfect pint bottle is great for homebrew though.
My understanding is that you have to drink Pliny quickly as it turns fast. So perhaps you got a bottle that had sat around on the shelf too long.
Is that possible Don?
