Check out the feed from the Wild Turkey bloggers tasting we participated in a few weeks back. It’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s a nice way to spend some time with legendary Master Distiller Jimmy Russell and his son, Associate Distiller Eddie Russell.
It’s also fun to see Jimmy bristle at my questions. I swear he’d whack me with Ol’ Hickory if I was there in person.
NOTE: The link might go dead after 30 days, so apologies if you’re hitting this after August 20th or so.

now they’re just trying to piss me off…
That has to be the dumbest concept. They should concentrate on making better beer as the Punk IPA I had was mediocre at best.
Amen, Rob. I really didn’t try their stuff before they started all this three-ring circus stuff. The first beer I had from them was Tactical Nuclear Penguin, and I thought it was deeply compromised in the name of alcohol content. Since then I have a few other offerings and I haven’t been impressed.
If you’re going to make big crazy beers, your every day stuff should be stellar, or at least a little special.
