Best Beer State Interim Exit Poll

Well the votes are still being cast as to who has the best beer state in the nation, but we thought we would give you an update as to where things stand right now.  If you try real hard these can change over the weekend, as it did with the State of Michigan who jumped from around 5th or 6th to third place overnight last night.  So these results can change and in some cases there are only a few votes separating states.  So here is the order right now!

1st place–Pennsylvania.  Victory Brewing Company really got out and rocked the vote to run the keystone state into first.

2nd place–Oregon.  What can I say, Hippies vote early and often…well maybe not early.

3rd place–Michigan.  Our sister’s home state really came through…must be all that Dragon’s Milk fueling the voters.

4th place is a tie between California and Colorado.  Snowboards and surfboards in a dead heat!

5th place–Delaware.  The Dogfish Head folks did their best, but they are a really tiny state.

6th place–Wisconsin.  My birth state and home to our parents, New Glarus and Lakefront.

Also receiving votes were New York, Vermont, North Carolina, Maine, Massachusetts, Washington, New Jersey, Alaska, Idaho, Indiana, Tennessee, and Maryland.

In all 19 states have received votes so far.  If you want to change things, you can take time over the weekend to make a push.  We’ll let you know if anything changes on Monday.  Thanks for those that voted so far, and for those that didn’t you know who you are.  Get out and rock the vote for your favorite Beer State!

PA went nuts because Victory blasted the poll to their Facebook fans. I guess there’s something to this social networking stuff after all, if only on a small, somewhat meaningless scale.

Just posted the poll to Stone and Sierra’s Facebook pages. Hopefully they’ll rally the troop and get Cali back in the hunt.
